RITA DEREK
PRINCIPAL/SOLICITOR
Rita is a solicitor of the High Court of Australia, the Supreme Court of Victoria and the Supreme Court of Queensland. She was first admitted in Victoria in 1979 and has practised in Queensland since 1981. Additionally, Rita is a member of the Queensland Family Law Practitioners Association. Rita practices in the areas of Family and Defacto Law, Compensation Claims and Civil Litigation.
ELANA LEE
SOLICITOR
Elana has over 15 years experience and concentrates on Family Law, including Property Settlement and Parenting matters, Domestic and Family Violence matters, as well as Wills and Estates. Elana is a member of the Queensland Family Law Practitioners Association. Elana completed her law degree whilst working as a Paralegal for the firm.

Allira is a professional who has proudly contributed her expertise to our firm for more than a decade. Her primary area of focus lies within Conveyancing, where she adeptly manages various aspects of the process. Allira's commitment to our clients at Derek Legal is fueled by her unwavering passion for achieving favourable outcomes on their behalf, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of care and dedication.

Kyla is a dedicated Legal Secretary who is driven to help support our clients through the difficult legal challenges they face, ensuring that it is not a difficult or confronting process. She takes immense pride in maintaining positive relationships with clients despite often being at the centre of their most difficult days.
MARIA DEPETRO
ACCOUNTS MANAGER (ACCOUNTANT)
Maria has been in public practice for over ten years, her objective is to help clients to the best of her ability in a manner that is understood. Maria is a CPA sole practitioner and works closely with Derek Legal both as the Accountant and Accounts Manager, however also assists their clients if required.
